From the moment we arrived in Niagara Falls for the Women of Color Summit on June 4–5, it was clear: this wasn’t just a conference. It was a call to rise, reclaim, and redefine what leadership looks like for women of color.
Hosted by Eleversity, this two-day summit gathered change-makers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and advocates—each one showing up with intention and leaving with even more clarity, community, and courage.
The Spirit of Resilience: Stephanie’s Keynote
Stephanie, our powerhouse speaker and co-founder at Moxie, delivered a keynote that struck chords and sparked transformation. Centered around the spirit of resilience, her talk was a masterclass in reclaiming your power, healing through adversity, and finding strength in every chapter of your story.
She reminded the room that resilience isn’t about pushing through—it’s about rising with grace, grit, and groundedness. It was the kind of talk that makes you sit a little taller. Breathe a little deeper. And believe, more fully, in what’s possible.
Day 2: Personal Branding with Purpose
On day two, Rubi and Stephanie co-facilitated a hands-on workshop on The Power of Personal Branding for LinkedIn—bridging authenticity with visibility in the digital age.
Participants learned:
- How to define your mission, vision, and values—and translate that foundation into a compelling brand voice, even in your LinkedIn presence, like crafting an unforgettable headline and bio that aligns with your purpose and presence.
- Ways to show up consistently without feeling performative or salesy
- Tips on using LinkedIn not just as a resume, but as a storytelling tool to build community, share vision, and embody thought leadership
In a world where so many voices get filtered or flattened, this session was about amplifying your truth, refining your narrative, and claiming space online—without shrinking.

Final Thoughts
The Women of Color Summit reminded us that our stories, our style, and our spirit are our power. And when women of color gather in their fullness—truth is spoken, ideas are born, and movements take root.
We’re honored to have been part of something so expansive and affirming—and we’re excited to keep building with this powerful community.
Until next time—show up fully, speak up boldly, and lead like you mean it.
